New game from Mild Escape!!!  This one is called “同じ部屋からの脱出” (Escape from the Same Room).

Please forgive me…  this game is really making me dizzy and it’s hard to keep track of all the room (even with a map next to me!).  The rooms look ridiculously identical…

Walkthrough: 似たような部屋からの脱出17 (Escape from the Familiar Room 17)

Hey guys!  Here’s a new game by a Japanese developer Hottategoya Games.  We have featured some of their games in the past.

This game is called 似たような部屋からの脱出17, the 17th game in their series “Escape from the Familiar Room”.

Their graphic is very neat and the puzzles are fun.

I did a video walkthrough for this game but honestly, this game has a lot of puzzle solving and not many hidden objects.  So I’m going to do a word walkthrough as well to help you if you are stuck.  My video is only going to show you the final answers to the puzzles, so you WON’T know how I solved them if you are just watching the video!  To see how I solve the puzzles, click “continue reading” to see the comments!

Hi there!  Here’s a new game by かもとかもとかも, called ちょっと休憩 いかがですか (according to Google Translate, it means “Hey How’s Break”– this is the best translate I can do >_<)

The graphic is super cute, absolutely my favorites style!

Walkthrough: Room Γ/ Room Gamma

Hey guys!  This morning I spent quite a lot of time playing this one called Room Γ (reads Room Gamma) by Mani Morishita.  The graphic in this game is slightly different from the ones I’ve already featured in my blog, but the game itself is very very fun.  If you haven’t tried this one, I definitely recommend you give a try.

To me, a good room escape game should have reasonable puzzles.  Last night I played one game that looked pretty nice, but the puzzles did not make much sense, and there were a tons of places you have to try your luck around the room to find things you need, so I basically spent a really long time clicking around and not really thinking.

Anyways, this Room Gamma is a very nice one, and I’m gonna do a walkthrough, with as many pictures as I can get.  This is a bit long, but really worth it!

Walkthrough: Drunk Room

This is another escape game I recently played: Drunk Room by Cygames.  Unfortunately the game is in Japanese…  I don’t read much Japanese but luckily the whole game is mostly graphic.  Only one puzzle needs knowledge in Hiragana and Katakana, but that you can easily find online, and I will post the table in the walkthrough for your reference.

This is another 3D room escape game (yay my favorite!) and although the rendering is not extremely perfect, I do like the style.  The details are well depicted and though I don’t understand most of the words the person in the game says, the way he speaks is really funny!

The first game I want to write about is this one that I recently finished: Office Room by Daisuke Suzuki.

I really like this kind of realistic room escape games.  The rendering is very nice.

I couldn’t find any walkthrough of this game online (maybe I wasn’t searching in the right way), but I was able to figure it out myself (that feels good) so I’m going to write my own walkthrough.  (spoiler below, hit ‘continue reading’ to see the walkthrough)
